Days 1 ARUSHA
Upon arriving in Arusha, the main entry point of Tanzania, you will be taken to Arusha Coffee Lodge to rejuvenate and unwind following your travels. Situated right on the outskirts of town, this lodge is among the most ancient establishments in the region. While you might only be here for one night, there are plenty of activities available, like the 'From Bean-to-Cup' coffee tour on the lodge's premises, where you can learn about the coffee bean's journey. With a little time to spare before your safari begins tomorrow, you could visit the Museum of Natural History which offers insight into the country’s history, geography, flora and fauna and can be quite an interesting experience for the whole family. If you prefer relaxing instead, the lounge, restaurants, bar, gardens, swimming pool, and spa could be the ideal spots for you.
 
Days 2 TARANGIRE
From Arusha, you will drive to the Tarangire National Park and you will embark on professionally led safari tour. You can anticipate observing the complete set of Big Five species - lion, rhino, leopard, elephant, and buffalo. There are many smaller predators and herbivores present, such as cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, servals, caracals, golden cats, wild dogs, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and various antelope species. There are plenty of grassland plains dotted with ancient baobab trees. You also have riverine woodlands, rocky hills, rugged gullies, bushland. The primary river running through the park is Tarangire River, and because of this you also have numerous swamps and floodplains.
 
Days 3 GIBB'S FARM
Today you will have the whole entire day for relaxation and activities that Gibb's Farm has to offer.  Start early in the morning by joining the Maasai for a forest walk - If you’re interested in traditional medicine, you’ll relish strolling through the Ngorongoro forest with Maasai healers and being introduced to a range of health-giving plants. Forest walks with a naturalist are also possible here. Explore the farm - You could certainly begin by exploring the extensive grounds, taking in the herb garden, rose garden, vegetable garden, and all the resident birdlife, in the company of an experienced horticulturalist! You can take a look around the farm, including the coffee fields and cattle herd. You can get really involved in farm life too, joining in with bread making, vegetable harvesting, and coffee roasting.  Relax at the pool or do yoga.  Enjoy farm-to-table breakfast, lunch and dinner.
 
Day 4 NGORONGORO CRATER
After staying at Gibb's Farm, you will head out on expertly guided game drives. You can expect to see all Big Five species – lion, rhino, leopard, elephant, and buffalo. Smaller predators and herbivores abound, including cheetah, hyenas, jackals, serval, caracal, golden cat, wild dog, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, and a fine assortment of antelopes. The Ngorongoro Crater is famous for Africa's best wildlife viewing, with an ever-present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Ascending from the crater floor, you will drive to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight (Alternatively you can book an extra night in Arusha).
