Serval Wildlife

At Serval Wildlife Sanctuary, visitors are immersed in a natural haven that is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including majestic African lions, playful colobus monkeys, elegant Masai giraffes, and the unique bat-eared foxes. The tour takes approximately two hours. We accept children of all age under custodian’s /parents’ concern. The trip includes an english speaking guide, access to wild animals for picture, petting and feeding and boxed lunch.

Ol Doinyo Lengai

2 Day Trip with accomodation. Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai is an active volcano in northern Tanzania, and so has a large crater at the summit. The highest point of the crater rim is 3,188 m (10,459 ft) above sea level. The whole climb takes around 8 to 12 hours depending on your fitness and pace. The climb involves a fairly straight climb to the crater rim, followed by a long descent back to the starting point. It's a very steep climb and ascent, and so isn't for the fainthearted!

Morning pickup at your hotel/Kilimanjaro airport by a guide from Safari & Holiday Makers and drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch boxes. On arrival start with mid morning games drives and have picnic lunch. Continue with afternoon until 1600hrs and drive back to Arusha Town. On arrival you are dropped at your Hotel.Tarangire is a beautiful area stretching south east of Lake Manyara around the Tarangire River. Tarangire has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife than any of the countries National Parks. Large herds of Zebras, wildebeests, elephants, elands, lesser kudus, gazelles, giraffes, waterbucks, impalas and in some occasions leopards and Rhinos can be seen all year round.

Get ready for a day of relaxing, fun and pure enjoyment. We will pick you up from Arusha in the morning, from which we have a short drive to Lake Duluti. Here we stop at the Duluti Forest Club where we can enjoy the beautiful surroundings, have a guided hike around the lake and take the kanoe out for a spin. During the hike you will explore the lake and learn about its interesting history, variety of animals and its flora & fauna. 

After the hike, you can choose to grab a kanoe and paddle around the lake to spot some monitor lizards or just float around in the sun. Upon returning there’s loads of time to relax, You can have a lunch and anjoy a beer with your friends.

You will be picked up in the morning, by our English-speaking Rafiki. He will drive you to Materuni Village. The Materuni waterfall is around a 40 minute walk away from the starting point.  The views are truly breathtaking and with some luck you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro.  Try to come close to the waterfall, if you can. The waterfall has immense power and it’s like a small hurricane if you try to come near. Challenge accepted!  You'll slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch, taste a local banana beer – and after lunch, the coffee experience awaits you. Here you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted and further processed. You will also be invited to help with the grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances.

The tour begins in Arusha, where we explore the city’s lively fruit and vegetable markets, showcasing a wide variety of products that might surprise you.

We’ll visit the iconic Clock Tower, a landmark symbolizing the connection between Cape Town and Cairo. Alternatively, you can choose to explore the fascinating archaeological artifacts at the Boma German Museum or browse the local art scene and cultural souvenir market. Take a peak into daily lives of the locals by exploring the busy bus station of Arusha or see where the Maasai’s unique clothing style is sold at the clothing market. Make a stop at one of the cozy cafes in town and try a traditional drink like Tangawizi, Konyagi, or enjoy a refreshing Serengeti beer. Don’t forget to ask your guide for their recommended restaurant to experience the delicious flavors of local cuisine.

The day trip to Mt Kilimanjaro starts around 5 from Arusha (or even earlier to avoid traffic). Depending on the location of your ho(s)tel, the journey will take 1:30-2.30hours. From here you’ll depart with your guide after an early breakfast to start the drive to Kilimanjaro National Park and begin the Kilimanjaro day hike.

The kilimanjaro day hike begins on the western side of the mountain and goes up through the forests to the Londorossi Gate. Here, at an altitude of 2,100m, the hike begins. The ascent is over 1,000m, moving steadily up through tropical mountain forests, home to a variety of animals and birdlife. The kilimanjaro day hike takes you up to the vast Shira Plateau, at 3600 m. A 500,000-year-old vulcanic caldera that is now a World Heritage Site. You can stop for lunch here, or continue on to Shira 1 Camp, Lion Gorge and the foothills of the Shira Pinnacles.
