A balloon safari is worth the cost, despite not being inexpensive. You can get a unique perspective of the vast Serengeti grasslands while floating calmly over the treetops as the sun sets over the horizon. It is possible that you will see some nocturnal predators preparing for the day when we leave early in the morning.

Most flights have parts that are flown at a higher height so you may enjoy unobstructed views of the Serengeti; other parts may involve low-level flying where you might be able to spot wildlife. Skilled aviators are able to navigate rivers and streams and can soar mere meters over sulking hippos or meandering giraffes. You may capture some amazing aerial wildlife shots by flying low. Your SCHEDULE

True magic remains unknown to you, until you have floated in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti National Park. The balloon rides in the Serengeti have perfect weather conditions. Balloon Safaris typically take place in the early morning, when the weather is more stable and calm, and our usual flight distance varies from one to ten miles based on wind conditions. You will be flying at various altitudes, from treetop level to several thousand feet, providing different perspectives of the Serengeti region's beauty.

1 hr flight

The wind determines the course of each flight. Although we know where we came from, we are unsure of where we will land. This is the adventure's portion. At times, the basket will lightly touch the tips of the grass before ascending through the layers of air to a height where you can see the horizon's curvature, illuminated by the early morning light in shades of pink and gold. In addition to having years of expertise with the African wind, our pilots are also skilled at interpreting the wild life that exists in the ebb and flow of the surrounding area.

8:20am to 9:30am

Bush Breakfast. Having breakfast under the vast canopy of an acacia tree in the heart of the Serengeti plains is a truly unforgettable experience. Exotic fruits, freshly baked bread, and eggs prepared in the wilderness (or a delightful avocado alternative), all enhanced by the setting, and presented on elegant linen, fine bone china, and Sheffield silverware in a safari-themed 'Out of Africa' fashion.
